WE are delighted to announce that popular Welsh TV, radio and opera star Wynne Evans will be bringing his love of all things food to the 2025 festival.

Wynne, who was a worthy champ in the 2023 series of Celebrity MasterChef, regularly discusses all things food and cooking with his legion of fans, the Wynners. He will be joining us across the weekend on Saturday, September 27th, and Sunday, September 28th, 2025.

A well-known broadcaster, presenter, and opera singer, until recently he hosted the highest-rated daily show on BBC Radio Wales.

His new online radio show the Wynne Evans Show went live, after a series of test runs, on Monday, June 16th, 2025.

Wynne also joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing in 2024.

With a 25-year operatic career, he has performed at major opera houses worldwide, including The Royal Opera House and the Metropolitan Opera.

He has released two number-one classical albums and performed across the world.

Widely known as Gio Compario in Go.Compare’s iconic ads, he has also written and produced over 150 commercials for the brand.

Wynne will join us for both days of the 2025 festival. More details of what he will be getting up to with us will be released later this summer.
