- News 13 July - Pig Roast

Forget burnt sausages on the barbecue....
Courtesy of one of our major sponsors, Dingle Marquee Hire, the Narberth Food Festival Committee is again putting on a Cuban-style pig roast at the Dingle Inn.
There’s a licensed bar, Latin-American music, and this year there will be puddings as well.
Last year people were still arriving after the food had run out. This year we’ll get a bigger pig, but come early to avoid disappointment.
Where? The Dingle Inn and Caravan Park, Jesse Road, Narberth
When? Friday 24 July
What time? From 4pm till the food runs out and the bar runs dry
Why? To raise money to subsidise free Food Festival attractions
Narberth Food Festival raffle tickets will be on sale: click here to see the many tasty prizes already offered.
- News 3 July - Costain

Major New Sponsor for Food Festival
Everyone in Pembrokeshire knows about the delays and inconvenience caused by the roadworks on the A40 between Narberth and Haverfordwest (the Robeston Wathen bypass). Fewer people know about the community involvement of contractor Costain.
Thanks to public liaison officer Phil Baker, Narberth Food Festival has received a donation of £500, making Costain one of our biggest supporters.

- News 20 June - Pembrokeshire Fish Week

Saturday 26 June – Sunday 4 July 2010
With over 200 family-friendly events around the county, Pembrokeshire Fish Week is undoubtedly the county’s biggest food festival. And as 2009 winners of the Gold True Taste 'Food Tourism Destination' and Pembrokeshire Tourism's 'Premier Event' Award', quality is assured. (We’re not miffed: we didn’t enter.)
For information about all events as well as where to eat and buy fish in Pembrokeshire, pick up a brochure locally or go to www.pembrokeshirefishweek.co.uk
PS Narberth Food Festival committee had to cancel plans for this year’s fish dinner when we were invited to cater for the performers at the 10th Clonmel Junction Festival of circus, theatre, dance, music and comedy.
The festival takes place at Clonmel in Tipperary, Ireland from 2 – 11 July 2010.

- News 25 May - True Taste

The official True Taste website recently announced:
‘For the past few years discerning foodies have flocked to west Wales to sample some of the best Welsh produce during Pembrokeshire Fish Week and the regular farmers’ markets in Haverfordwest. But this year, Pembrokeshire will host the ‘best of the best’ when the Wales the True Taste Food and Drink Awards 2010/11 come to the Withybush Showground.'
‘The Welsh Assembly Government managed awards will travel to Pembrokeshire following the region’s success in producing several award-winning food and drink products over the years.’
Well, excuse us, more than several: eleven awards just last year. And no mention of the 5000 people who flocked in 2009 to Narberth Food Festival – many of whose stallholders and supporters are True Taste winners!
