Narberth Food Festival - Entertainers 2009

We are lining up another deliciously mixed menu of musicians and entertainers for this year’s festival – and there will be even more activities for children too.

Meanwhile, here’s a taste of some of our entertainers in previous years.

CHERIE MORGAN

Young Templeton singer Cherie Morgan has gone on to win local talent shows and produce recordings since performing at the 2007 Festival. Read about her, listen to her at www.myspace.com/cheriemorgan

MUSICAL RUTH

Musical Ruth – the singing nun – was such a hit in 2007 that we invited her back in 2008.

See her wobble her wimple at www.musicalruth.com/ and find lots more clips on youtube.

Last Chance SaloonLAST CHANCE SALOON

Long-established local R & B and American Roots band Last Chance Saloon. Hear them on:

PLUNGEBOOM

In 2009 Plunge Boom gave a whole new meaning to the phrase baby marrow.
Play their video at: www.plungeboom.com/allotment.htm
(In case you wonder, the backing-track is Old Country Stomp by the wonderful Henry Thomas. Yes, Canned Heat did rip off his Bull-Doze Blues for their sixties hit, Going up the Country. Do yourself a favour and order his complete recordings on Document Records DOCD-5665.)

FIDDLEBOX
Popular local fiddle, accordion and vocal duo Fiddlebox.
See them, hear them and find out more about them at:
